There is always a Christmas cake on
the table during the Christmas season, especially a fruit cake. In
Trinidad the traditional FRUIT CAKE is
usually crumbly-moist or sticky-wet and black; its moisture resulting
from the excessive use of alcohol. A Traditional Christmas fruit cake can be
quite heavy and dense, so try a lighter
fruit and nut version. Using a fruit medley, this FESTIVE LIGHT FRUIT CAKE RECIPE
gives you a great mix of festive flavour. A great choice when you don’t
want a heavily spiced cake – but it’s just as Christmas-y.
It
is very easy to make, even if you are a first-time cake maker. This cake could
make you look like you know what you are doing. Just follow the instructions
and soon you will have a tasty fruity cake.
